“ The food was pretty good the fish was very tender and the drink I had was aaaamazing. I don't remember the name of the drink. Sadly we didn't get to see outside because it was too dark but I can tell it was nice. The decor was so cute! ”

“ Stopped for lunch after diving the Oriskany. We sat at the bar and unbeknownst to me, you're allowed to smoke at the bar and had to deal with the cigarette smoke from a couple of smokers. The bar is outside so maybe that had something to do with it. I ordered the grouper & grits with a side of garlic green beans. This meal was fantastic! The fish was cooked to perfection, was very light and almost buttery. The grits with the sauce added a lot of flavor. The shoestring green beans were also cooked perfectly. They were nice and crisp with bits of garlic. The perfect side for the dish. This was the best meal I've had in the two weeks we've been traveling and eating out. It was accompanied by a local Pensacola Brewery beer, Riptide amber ale. Great beer if you drink ambers. The meals did take a bit to come out but hopefully that's because everything is made from scratch. If you're at the marina, come here and grab a cocktail and food. You won't regret it! ”

“ WATERFRONT - not too many competitors in this realm. You can also see some of the Blue Angel practices from their water-facing seats. This is our favorite restaurant in town. Great beach/waterfront vibe, awesome servers and good food. We love the shrimp tacos, cheese grits, and (weekdays only) the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich. All outdoor seating, much of it under a huge thatched tiki roof. There are also more "outdoor" tables with umbrellas. The umbrella tables are dog friendly. No A/C anywhere, but the tiki seats are normally comfortable even on a hot day, the umbrella seats are usually fine too. There is a breeze coming off the water. We've been going for years and for some reason I never wrote a review. But - last visit my wife left her cel phone on the table and didn't notice until we pulled away. The last restaurant (in South Florida) where she did this - restaurant staff immediately shut her phone off and stole it. The great Oar House staff just took it over and left it safe behind the bar to wait for her to come back and get it. Glad to be out of South Florida... ”

“ So sad that the only 3 times I've visited have been blazing out!!! And I was sat at the "outside bar", or the first bar. I always thought the "inside bar" was inside but it's not!! It's another outdoor bar that is directly on the water!!! I never knew lolol however, it does have the capacity to close windows, has way more fans, and apparently they have heaters when it's chilly season. Staff are are wonderful people and the crowd seems to be really laid back. Food seems to be your typical bar food, not a bad selection. Great drink variety and great prices! I'll be back more often 100% ”

“ Went to lunch with friends who live here and highly recommended this restaurant. We were not disappointed. They are right on the water and have a large selection of food and a full bar. The guys had beer and I had a margarita. Two of us had the chicken cordon blu sandwich and one had the grouper sandwich and my hubby had the fish and chips. All the food was good. Definitely recommend giving this place a try. ”

“ Great restaurant nestled next to the water, perfect for a date night, celebration's with family & friends. The staff is very accommodating & knowledgeable on the offered items & specials. Drinks came out quickly and made to perfection, come with a group & the waitress was excellent everyone got what they requested, the food was hot fresh just delicious. I recommend the fried pickles & nachos for starters comes with plenty to share. Amazing seafood gumbo & one of the house specialties shrimp & grits, looking forward to returning. ”

“ Let's start by giving major props to our server, Chase. It's always refreshing to experience great customer service while dining. Next, the food. I really enjoyed Fried Pickle appetizer. For my entree, I ordered the fries shrimp and fish platter which was served with french fries, hush puppies and, coleslaw. All of the food came out extremely fast yet, it was hot and good. I really enjoyed the hush puppies and french fries. The entree was also a large portion so, I didn't even finish my second piece of fish. I really enjoyed the laid back environment of the restaurant and the food. I'll definitely be back ”

“ Went to a destination wedding and discovered this neat restaurant on the last day. Sure wish we found it sooner because it was by far the best food we had. My daughter and friend were also there so I'm going to report some of their findings as well We don't usually waste calories on hush puppies because they are usually terrible and my late mother made them perfectly. We mowed those down like nobody's business. Wanted more and more.10/10 Gumbo was delicious but it did not have my daughter's favorite addition ( mine as well!) and that was okra. The bowl was licked clean. 9/10 I don't do gator bites but they and the respective sauce was loved by all that had them. 9/10 Ranch and fries 10/10 which was unanimous. Fried fish, oysters and shrimp all fried to perfection. It's not easy to get three different seafoods on one plate fried perfectly. It is clear that these folks have it down to a fine art. The server was great as well. Can't wait to return. It certainly beats any fried seafood in my town by ten miles. ”
